Saving Money with Social Media

Now one of your goals for the New Year may be to avoid social media and that’s a VERY admirable goal. However, one of the best ways I have found coupons for saving money is through social media. Let’s break it down.

I found this couponing on Facebook awhile back. I thought that even if I didn’t use it a lot, it may still be helpful and it definitely is! This group helps me learn about couponing apps and good deals at certain stores. Now, I can’t use all of this information, simply because I don’t have access to a lot of these stores, but the ones I do have access to, the information has been great. For example, there was a deal going on on the Coupon24 app for $10 off of Pampers diapers through CVS stores. At the time, CVS had packages (not boxes) of Pampers diapers for $10.99. So using that coupon, it was only 99 cents a package (mine was $1.65 total because of tax)! That’s AMAZING savings. I generally use Huggies on my baby, however I had a friend and a sister-in-law both expecting babies, and diapers are a great gift for that!

The same day I heard about the Pampers deal, I also saw a deal on Huggies at Family Dollar. The had packages of diapers for $4.97, also an amazing deal. I stopped in and asked if they would price match the app and was told they would! I had an additional dollar off. I got two packets for $9.54, when normally, one of those at the cheapest normal price would’ve been $9.99. Sometimes, you just need to ask!

We were also blessed a few days prior by someone in my small town, who decided they didn’t like the diapers they had purchased for their child and they left an almost full box of 92 diapers downtown at our little pantry for FREE! We scooped them up quick!

I also found free diapers on Facebook Marketplace that I let my sister in law know about. Please just make sure it’s not a scam and that you’re safe when doing deals like this!

This doesn’t have to just be diapers either! It could be on all sorts of things. Right after the holidays is a great time to find deals in stores and on marketplace as places/people look to get rid of toys, food, decor, etc. The whole point is, while I don’t recommend always scrolling social media, sometimes couponing groups or even local pages can be amazing places to save money.

What’s the best deal you’ve scored recently? Let me know below!
